caian talk 28/01/2026 with Marta Andreatta

Guest talk by Marta Andreatta (University Hospital Tübingen) on "When context matters in shaping defensive responses"

Defensive responses are strongly modulated by contextual information. In this talk, she will present studies illustrating how VR can advance our understanding on context-dependent associative learning. She will focus on the acquisition of context-dependent anxiety, presenting data on healthy individuals as well as patients with anxiety disorders.

Marta Andreatta is a Heisenberg Fellow at the University Hospital Tübingen (UKT). Her work centers on associative learning mechanisms integrating psychophysiological methods with innovative experimental approaches such as virtual reality.
