caian talks
caian talks is an ongoing, hybrid lecture series at the Center of Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience (caian) in Bonn and hosted by Prof. Dominik Bach (Critical Intelligence Lab). The invited speakers present their research which lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, neuroscience, decision making, and mental health research.

NN 2026
We are hosting the symposium Naturalistic Neuroscience – From Perception to Action and Back on 28-29 May 2026.
This two-day symposium will spotlight substantive research, novel neurotechnology, and theoretical underpinnings in this field. In addition to a series of distinguished keynote talks, participants will have the opportunity to present their work through oral or poster presentations, and to visit local naturalistic neuroscience and virtual reality facilities.
We expect registration to open in February 2026.

Dies academicus (Winter Semester 2025/2026)

We welcomed the public to our lab facilities. Visitors could explore our four lab spaces, including Virtual Reality and classical conditioning experiment set-ups. Additional to the a guided tour, visitors could once again play-test one of our VR scenarios. Our team had a lot of fun and we are looking forward to the next event of this kind.
