The poster to be presented, titled “Social Interaction under Threat in Virtual Reality: Developing a Multiplayer Adaptation of Social Dilemmas in VR,” focuses on the development of a multiplayer paradigm for investigating social interaction and decision-making under threat in virtual reality.
The research adapts classic social dilemmas to an immersive virtual environment in which two participants must decide whether to continue collecting resources in the presence of a threat or seek safety. This approach provides a framework for examining cooperation, individual choices, and the consequences of social decisions in threatening situations.
The project contributes to the development of experimental methods for studying social behaviour in immersive, interactive environments.
Congratulations to Konstantinos and Lara on this achievement. We wish them a successful presentation at the VR Summit in Bochum!
