Mapping the space of human actions

What is the space of human actions? How do they compare to other animals?

In this project, part of the iBehave consortium, we use multi-camera data and deep convolutional networks to extract pose information from videos and understand the constitutent temporal and spatial structure of behaviour under threat. Other consortia members take similar approaches in non-human species. Ultimately, we seek to map the syntax of human and non-human behaviour and understand their similarities.
